- The Grünloch-Experiment (Lunz am See, Austria)

- Meteorological Field Campaign about temperature inversions in Alpine basins

At the way to Gruenloch - in the background you can see the saddle to Gruenloch. The mountain on the right is the Huehnerkogel, where we installed our highest weatherstation.

At the saddle to Gruenloch. We didn't saw any of the data loggers!

View to Gruenloch. We still had 1,9m of snow!

The Minimum-Thermometers of Alois were showing different values. Maybe there were to much vibrations at windy days, especially as the mast is not very stable.

When the shadow reached the Gruenloch, the temperature-inversion was building up very quickly.

Can you see the fog at Gruenloch? The top of the fog rose with the shadow. After one hour, the fog dissolved again.
